On Saturday we headed up to Salt Lake and visited the Body Worlds exhibit. This is a traveling exhibit that showcases real human bodies in amazing ways. The bodies are posed in acrobatic poses and certain muscle groups are highlighted. On one body they had removed everything except the blood vessels and bones. They had sections that focused on different organ groups and excerpts from poems on the wall. It was amazing to view and the kids were fascinated by it. Although after a while of my explanations, Cloudburst said nicely, "Mom let's not do any more talking. Let's just look." For the old scientist in me, it was wonderful!

you made it-- now i am going to want to go. it looks really interesting (and a little creepy to me:)
I'm so jealous! It was down here in Phoenix and we never made it. I heard it is awesome. Glad you guys got to go.
We saw it in NC in 2007--our kids were fascinated and scared (so were we). The part the younger ones couldn't believe was the fetus and baby section. It was a cool experience to see what's under our skin!
