Winds of change...
...were blowing today (literally and figuratively). In church, Thunder was sustained as the Bishop of our ward. As a family, we are excited. This morning, we told the kids and asked them, "what do you think this means?" Sunshine chimed in, "that means Daddy will be really old," and Cloudburst added, "and you will be a Grandma!" After church the kids were very excited to go visit the Bishop's office and see who was sitting in there. As a family, we have prayed a lot about this, and feel peace and excitement. Our ward is just great and we look forward to this new journey for our family.

Oh my, wow! Well, brace yourself girlie! However, I'm sure many blessigns will come from this new adventure!
We Love you guys and appreciate your willingness to serve our ward. Our prayers are with you both. We feel blessed to have Thunder as our Bishop, and Lightning as our ward Mother. Thank you both for all you've sacrificed and will continue to sacrifice in our behalf.
P.S. Lightning... I know I look like I can barely manage my own children sometimes, but I really am willing and able to help you in any way you need, don't hesitate to ask!!
I really wish I still lived there so that I could help you. I'm sure you will have lots of ward members willing to help, so I'll have to take comfort in that. I know you and your family will be blessed. I'm sure there will be plenty of ups and downs, so get ready to enjoy the ride. :)
We are so excited for your family as well. This will be an incredible journey, and we're thankful we get to experience it with you. I couldn't think of a better man for the job.
Oh man, I don't know how you will sit on the bench by yourself with three small children and a new infant!! I know the Lord with bless the both of you, good luck! :)
