yellow squash, onions and broccoli......
and then we cooked it and ate (well, we saved the broccoli for dinner)! The kids each tried three bites... and that was about it. And I told Tornado to try the food in his bowl, and he just said one word: "yucky." I didn't even know he knew that word! At least they tried it, right?Now, if you want to check out a real gardening blog, check out Farmer Erin. She is an old friend of mine and now works on an organic farm full time. They just harvested 600 Egg Plants. So maybe my garden is not so big...but there is nothing like eating the fruits of your labor!

ha! You tried it! Sorry you guys didn't like it. My kids won't even think of trying it anymore. They already know they don't like it. :) But Scott and I do. I don't know...maybe it really is a Southern thing. The squash casserole really is good! :)
I actually do like it... I've had it a few times before, so I ended up eating everyone's portion!
