I ain't gonna lie, the race was hard for me. I finished in 2:11, which is about 10 minutes per mile. I had hoped to get under 2 hours but at mile 10 I had incredible pain in a toe on my right foot and had to walk. I was able to run the last mile but it was hard. I decided that with a broken foot and toe pain, I should get some different shoes! I switched from Saucony's to Aisics and so far they are great. I am not signed up for any races but still run 2-3 times a week. It's such a great release. Maybe next summer I will break the 2 hour mark!
